Tool Pictures You may have noticed that this program has displays pictures of the tools along with the tool path.
The tool picture was drawn in a CAD file and the name of the file is in a comment in the program. "(TL N55)" The "(TL" is the command for Inplot to load a tool file. "N55" is the filename without the ".CDL" extension. After that, all the plotting displays the tool as it plots - until the next load tool command. This applies only to Lathe tools because for milling we have a similar method with Comment Code TM that displays a circle for the tool. There are many of these plotting commands that can be in comments in the program. See Comment Codes.
