Mazatrol

A Mazak Mazatrol program is not in a normal text format and requires a special protocol for transfer through serial ports. For the File Type there is an additional item to choose Mazatrol type. Setting it to this will allow you to upload and download Mazatrol programs from Mazak M32, Mplus, T32, Tplus, Fusion 640, T-3, T-2, M-2, T-1 controls. This is an optional add-on to the DNC Server software. Activate DNC Server first and then you can activate the Mazatrol option. The Mazatrol option is available in the DNC Server trial version so you can test it. What if you need to use both Mazatrol type files and EIA/ISO files on the same machine? Make two separate machines on the machine list with the same Comm port and you can switch between them. You don’t load Mazatrol files into the editor window. They are not in any text that can be shown. Check the setting "Wait for Signal From Machine Before Send".

Procedure for loading and saving Mazatrol with DNC Server: Sending to Machine : 1. At DNC Server – Select Machine from the dropdown list. 2. If you need to go to a different directory, choose it from the left drop down list. 3. Highlight file in file list by clicking once on it. 4. Press the “Send” button and status will show “Waiting for Remote Start” 5. At Mazak, load file with CMT. 6. Status line will show progress in blocks sent. Sending from Machine to Computer: 1. At DNC Server – Select correct machine from dropdown list 2. Press the “Receive” button – a file save dialog will come up for you to choose the file you want to save it to. Existing or new file. DNC Server status will say ‘Waiting For Data’. 3. At Mazak, output program with CMT. 4. At DNC Server – Status display will show progress of blocks received. 5. When Status says, "Finished Receiving", file that was received will be automatically save to the filename you chose. This is not available in Auto-Serve mode. Note: If you have Mazatrol programs that were saved with a different brand of software they will probably not load back in with this software since there is no standard format to save and each software uses its own format. You can use this to save programs from the machine and load them back in,

Note: You need to purchase and activate the standard DNC Server software before you purchase this.

After purchase, go to Main Menu - Help - Activation and enter the Order Reference Number and press Add Option Code button

First, turn on that option in App Settings - Options. Check the Use Mazatrol checkbox, Save and restart.

After that, a “Mazatrol” choice will appear in the File Type dropdown in the machine Configuration window.

Each of the Options can be turned on or off. Go to App Settings - Options and check the Use Mazatrol checkbox.
