Inplot - Quick Start

Two Windows on the Inplot Screen:
Load File into Edit Window:
Load CAD File into Plot Window:
Now we have an NC program in the Edit Window, and a CAD drawing of the part in the Plot Window.
Plot Buttons:
There are a number of Utilities on the Main Menu. Let's use the Shift NC Utility
We can enter any address we want to change. Then enter a value to add to it. We can do three addresses at a time. To subtract from the address, enter a negative number. If we highlight a section of lines in the editor, it will only change those lines. Otherwise, it works down from the cursor position.

The other utilities work in a similar manner.
With the Tool Buttons, you can move the tool manually around the plot window and obtain position coordinates. First make sure a tool picture is loaded.
Status Bar at bottom shows current loaded tool picture.
Tool Buttons:
Choose this button
Hold down the left mouse button and drag the tool around the plot window with the mouse.
You can see the program coordinates in the bottom Status Bar.
The other Tool Buttons are more sophisticated. You can move the tool so it is tangent to lines and arcs in the CAD drawing just by clicking on them in the Plot Window.
